To New Beginnings

Big thangs are happening.

I'll randomly say "I'm excited" throughout the day. Randomly. That Excited.

First off I get to move back to Roseville, Ca, where I used to live with my family-- but due to my Dad passing we decided to move back home to help my Mom.  Now, after 4 years of sacrifices, sleepless nights, and "darkness" (because I work nights), I can now live a somewhat normal life.

I got a 9-5, Mon-Fri job for a corporate healthcare provider. Its a Fortune 500 company and it has good intentions, which I appreciate. Now I have weekends off! week-ENDS. This has never happened to me throughout my nursing career thus far.

Mondays would be my Sunday, and awfully, Fridays have been my Monday (worst rotation ever, rub it in why don't you).  All that is done and I get to spend much more time with family and have the life I've been wanting-- basically to live in sunlight.

I'm so excited.

My Skins actin' a fool.

I've been a faithful MAC NC 40/42 user since my freshmen year of college.  Despite hearing that it clogs pores and causes break outs because of all the "cloggyness"- I used it because it gave me the coverage that I needed.  I've always had acne prone skin anyway ::shrugs shoulders::.

So I've recently switched-- for shits and giggles, to NARS Sheerglow Foundation in Barcelona this past mid-winter season.  I loved it! it gave me this fantastic glow, didn't accentuate any dry spots and gave me natural coverage.

Now that the days are warmer, it starts to cake on meee face! It literally spotlights all my wrinkles, all the crevasses that I didn't know that I had lol and cherry on top people-- breaks me out with all these little pimples especially in my chin area!  Like what happened to the foundation that I thought was my HOLY GRAIL? total Fail. I want to return it but its been through 3 months of use lol.

Back in my kit you go and hibernate & wait for colder days I guess.

So, planning to re-purchase my MAC NC40 once again, my soul mate, my first love (sorry I left you in the first place boo)

I'm just overall disappointed with this whole situation.  Here I go venturing out of my comfort zone, to expand my horizons and seek new products in hopes it will change my perception to makeup.  Well I guess it was a miss. Oh bladee. Oh bladah. Life goes on.

Just a rant. NARS Sheerglow ISN'T for everybody people lol

Peace & Blessings

Re-hydrating my skin at the moment, wsup.

Can You Stand the Rain...

I praise the individuals who stood in the rain.
Who stood tall through the storm-- cold, powerless,
and alone.

Looking up in the endless night sky
thinking and wondering if this rain is a blessing
or just tears returning back to them.

Do we seek shelter,
or do we just take it as we deserve it ?
There must be a reason behind all this.

There has to-- its too poetic not to.

As I quietly and motionlessly stand in this growing puddle,
with each drop stabbing my heart...

I take it.

Because I know,
the water shed will take part of a spiritual growth-- that
amongst all this hurt, a part of me will grow.

After all my tears are seeds.

As Always,

Peace & Balance.
Bev

Feeling: Stuffy/ Coughy
Currently: Eating Sahale Pomegranate Pistachios & drinking Grean Tea
Listening:  Lapalux on Pandora

So I've come down with the Flu, Phlew, Flew, Plew, Plou.

....

It sucks _____.  So lets back it up to Pre-Flu happenings.

I watched 50 Shades of Grey with friends, Carolyn & Sharon.

I honestly was a bit iffy about it because I only read like the first 40 pages of the book then got bored of it. Well,  I made myself go out and watch it in hopes of gaining interest.  Umm.... it was intense, sexually intense.

Carolyn, who sat to the right of me, was literally sitting on the edge of her seat throughout the movie. Sharon who was to the left of me was giggling at every naughty scene. I square the whole crowd, including me, knew every mole and scar on Anastasia's body. I liked the movie surprisingly... it was like a grown up Twilight haha.

I saw myself more of the Christian Grey type, meaning.... I'm like him lol. I'm Alpha female (ask anyone) I like things a certain way and l live for control.   I liked it... so much I want to take Henry to watch it one day. The actors who played Christian and Anastasia were on point, very into character  Although the movie ended abruptly, I really can't wait to watch part II, and possibly pick up reading again just to see what part II has in store for the two twisted love birds.

Now off I go to take some ibuprofen, tessalon, singular, tamiflu, and my albuterol/nebulizer treatment. Yes, I'm that messed up right now. Stay away from the Flu! Wash your hands and stray away from those who have it.

Peace & Blessings,
Bevie

WADDAP WADDAP.

So here I am, in the FONT... coming live via macbook pro.... 2 years later. haha. I know, I know... Henry was generous enough to get me a mac pro for my Valentines/Birthday gift.  Keeper right?

So what does this mean?

New BLOG entries?
New MOTD/OOTD?
...OR quite possibly a new YOUTUBE VIDEO?

Good gosh the possibilities are endless.  Its the age of documentation. I think its one thing to put a camera down and let life just take you, but its another to remember and re-live the moment.  So I choose both in moderation.  Life is definitely too short to just make everyday ordinary-- make it beautiful I say! And what's not better than SHARING these moments ahh? Aye? Ahat do you say? ....yes!.... YOU Comment #0.

And this my friend, is my outlet of all things beautiful, chaotic, inspirational, colors, shapes, motions... with the accompaniment of music of course... cause music is definitely my life as you all know, especially those who followed me on the YT.  So buckle up, and soak in my vision.  Enough with these run-on sentences.  I'm Out.

Peace & Balance.
Bev.

MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP LOOK

So I thought I'd share with you all how I go about doing my makeup on an everyday basis.  In all honesty theres really not much to it.  You can't go wrong with GOLDS & BROWNS and its easily wearable and bulidable to your liking.  To you, it might not seem "fancy" but I notice that my everyday makeup becomes a part of how I carry myself... gotta keep it spiffy.
