Currently en route to Roseville,ca on this beautiful crisp Saturday afternoon. Sipping on a chai latte from Starbucks, my drink of choice... Great for the throat especially if you've been coughing all night as I have. The mister is driving so I get to fiddle faddle with the iPad like a boss :) this post is basically an impromptu due to boredom and to prevent car sickness. I'm used to driving so sitting on the passenger side kinda makes me qweezy. So idk what else to write sooo I'll just leave this post as is, kinda like a HUGE status update.. Lol

Hope everyone is getting their shopping done and in a ladylike manner (no pushing, shoving, or death threats at the mall pls) hehhehe

Hello, December.

It has been quite an eventful past few days. Thanksgiving came and went and now the holidays are finally here. The year is almost over and while others are scurrying trying to get their Christmas shopping done, others are savoring every moment 2011 has to offer, me on the other hand CANNOT wait for 2011 to end (IMP) just because its been the worst year of my life...

ANYWAYS. Here are some candid moments from since we last spoke Cyber friends.

Re-CAP

Ihsan's birthday weekend was awesome. The kids had fun and so did the adults.

Watched the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight... lol that fight was so intense it made me laugh!

Anyways on with the show...

So I bought Parmesan and Caramel popcorn for the fight... 2 gallons

(originally $34.99; paid 24.99) tin can full of nummy goodness,

refillable for $24.99-- hey, why not? lol

its chillin' in my trunk just incase i break out with a CRAVE.

Heres my son with my sister. He's eating a spring roll after school while my sister and I devoured a kiwi/strawberry/banana/vanilla icecream/nutella/whip crepe- nom.nom.nom.

So I worked Noc shift (1030pm-700am) and afterwards Carolyn invited me to breakfast, she worked Noc shift too.... this is what happens when you dont sleep.

You turn into that dood from Big Trouble in Little China.

So Carolyn, her parents, and I had breakfast at this joint called CasaGrandes, as you can see from this ginormous pile of 3 pancakes... the name doesnt lie.

This mom and pop shop was everything but ordinary.

& as a nightcap, lol...

My friend Gayle, the Mister, and I headed out to Boudin SF to grab a late dinner.

The mister was craving a good bread bowl of Chili, BF wanted tomato soup, and I wanted a sandwhich/salad combo. I got the most NOMcious sandwhich ever!

Melted Brie cheese with fig jam, apples, in between parmesan crusted bread (I die). Oh is that my chili bowl in the corner? & a chili bowl. FPS (fat.people.stuff)

Okay folks, AM shift tomorrow...

hopefully when im NOT working I'll be able to do a FOTD for ya'll.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

I woke up to a gigantic hug and a beaming smile from my son this morning.

I almost forgot whose birthday it was, mine or his.

It felt as if he was thanking me for his life,

when I in fact should be thanking him for mine.

Found a J.O.B in this terrible economy. SO thankful.. yee!

YAY! new look with my new cam!
So, its been awhile...::crickets::

yea! i know, shame on me-- a lot has happened though in the past couple months. I was studying for my boards then while studying for my boards I find out that my uncle whom I'm very close to ends up with terminal cancer. He passed away the day after I took my boards. yea....

So its been a really rocky year for me, 2010 so far has been bittersweet. I hope as this year goes by, it gets better... you know?

So thats what I've been up to.

On a lighter note--

the look that i did was AIIIIIITE, I mean, I was more excited about using the camera than the look that I created lol. I just wanted to see my eye close up, but now that I look at the video I think I should back it up a bit cause my flaws are all up in yO face. haha maybe 2 eyes instead of 1 in the frame. I love this thickening foam. I have naturally curly hair & when I don't feel like putting heat on my locks, I use this bad boy after putting on mousse. It creates volume even while it air drys. Highly recommend this product!

club look #2

I was so hesitant to record a video today because I have such bad allergies, I thought I'd be sneezing on brushes the whole time-- thankfully none of that happened...

I just sound super congested in my narrative. lol

So this is the next club look i came up with! I've been recording on my macbook pro, and the colors that showed in the video gave no justice! I wish i had an HD camera that everyone else on YT uses. You would've seen the color way better! I really enjoyed this look, my eye shadow looks like its "glowing" and i love that effect! This is literally one of the looks I always do when I go out. Its simple, diva-ish, and dramatic-- what more do you want? The red lip is added drama, you can always rock a neutral lippy IF its a bit much. Organizing a quad from MAC with your favorite combos will save you time... especially when your friends call you up last min-- no need for brainstorming colors, just grab your pre-made quad. Loves it! & I hope you do too :)
